As you leave the refuge, you have to go down into the valley through the forest on a path.
Once in the valley, you walk along a road that runs the same from one side to the other, for about four kilometers and that crosses three or four villages.
At the end of the valley, the first hill begins, very strong. And from there they are almost all trails and tracks through forest, in continuous ups and downs, never flat.
In short, this stage is a beating, which is offset by the great landscapes that we are seeing.
When I arrived at the town of Mala Vas, I detoured to the point indicated by waypoint 015b because there was a building on the road that looked like a bar, although later it turned out that it was not and I had to retrace my steps.
Then, once I left the road, I noticed that the road signs and the same road have disappeared, due to a quarry they are exploiting. In the absence of signaling and on the way, I had to make several turns cross-country until at the point indicated by waypoint 016 I again found the Jacobean signpost.
I still had a bit of time to walk until I reached Gombisce, where I stayed at the Vidmar rural house, waypoint 017. It's not really a rural house. The owners are a family that has a family house on the outskirts of town and next to their house they have a bar, or old house, where they put some mattresses on the floor and there they sleep. There is a good shower and the family is friendly and welcoming, which makes it recommendable, and even a nice experience. They gave me dinner and breakfast and the price was very reasonable.
