Itinerary description

Long stage and with difficulty. Many slopes up and down. Also good landscapes, many forests, dirt tracks, trails, little asphalt and practically nothing of cars.
The point marked with waypoint 009, 8.2 km from Kostanjevica is the Novi Lurd rural house, in the middle of the forest, which is the only place where you can eat or drink something until you reach Velike Brusnice, a town with all the services . In Novi Lurd I stopped to have a beer (they have a stamp for the credential) and they also told me that you can sleep for 25 euros.
It passes through a monastery or something similar with a large farm, all fenced with a high wall. At a point on the wall, marked with waypoint 010, there is a fountain.
Then there is a forest in which you have to cross a river, without a bridge or stones or anything at all. Also when I passed by there was a heavy storm. I risked juggling to get through without taking off my boots and, of course, I ended up soaked. Shortly after, there is a town with a fountain at waypoint 012 and where I took the opportunity to dry off and change my socks.
After that point, there is a paved trail and then another forest until you reach Velike Brusnice, a town with all services.
I had already walked 24.1 km with some difficulty, it was late and I still had 10 kms left, I spoke with some people from the town, waypoint 013, who ended up inviting me to a beer and then they took me in their car to Novo Mesto.
On the track, in order to preserve the original path as much as possible, I have put the official track instead of the section I made on the road, although I must warn that I did not walk those last ten kilometers.
Accommodation in Novo Mesto in Hostel Situla. Cheap and very good. Recommendable.
