We say this last stage of our "Vuelta a los Annapurnas".
This stage will be characterized by a continuous descent from about 3000 meters to almost 1000 meters, so you have to be prepared to punish a little knees.
The first section of the route is really very beautiful. We will walk through a jungle of huge rhododendrons (which in April are in full bloom). It is a very green and cool area and the road in this first high section is very pleasant to walk. Little by little we are slowly losing height, but until Ulleri there is not a big gap and it is very comfortable. In Ulleri the thing changes and we go down a long flight of stairs (which is endless) to Tikhe Dhunga where the slope again softens. Shortly after, past the little village of Hile, we went out onto the track and entered the less attractive part of the route of this last stage. We will not leave the track until a short detour to Bire Thanti, and shortly after we went to Naya Pul, where we left to take the bus, just in time, because shortly after it broke down to rain with force.
Previously to this stage we had gone up in the morning to Poon Hill from Ghorepani, with such bad fortune of not being able to enjoy the spectacular views that there is of all the massif of Annapurna in the foreground and the Dhaulagiri and Manaslú to more distance for being quite covered of clouds (a great putada).
