Itinerary description
Not for the faint hearted. Quite a difficult route up the North ridge of Tryfan with some tough scrambling and a bit of climbing. An additional problem is that the routes aren't marked and the OS maps can lead to some confusion. Really, it's a case of as long as you are going upwards, you're going the right way! After summiting Glyder Fach the route becomes a lot easier.
