Itinerary description

Comment : I chose to go counter-clockwise to hopefully stay in the sun, didn't happen as the sky was overcast most of the day. This led to an easy (but long) T2 (yellow) ascent doable by families with a harsher steeper T3 (white-red) descent. You might want to do it clockwise because of that and start from the Stoos side. Most of the area is a swamp in spring even in the slopes it was wet and slightly muddy everywhere thanks to the late snow melting. The Stübleni area is quite unique a small trail surrounded by deep holes as if the earth had been bombarded by meteorites (maybe it was) overall it's a pretty and very calm valley at least off-season before the cable station open in june I can imagine it sees a lot more hikers in summer as it's close to Lauenen. We didn't do all the summits and went off-trail a lot as the weather wasn't great still a lot of snow and we tried to stay on grass or easy paths. There's an official easier path leading to Tube summit but didn't want to pass twice on the same trail so went straight up. Stübleni summit trail is well marked but is more technical than the rest and isn't an officially maintained path not recommended for casual hikers.
