Difficulty for me : T3

Average Slope : +21.6% -22.4% (-13% max recommended)
Attendance ascent/summit/descent : low/low/low
Comment : on hike 118 I recommended this instead and I guessed right, it's an easy T3, it has no technical difficulties (read below) and is pretty easy to walk, the trail zigzag a lot reducing the steepness of the slope, 3-4 places climb more but never for long before flattening, the scenery on the ascent while being one of an enclosed valley isn't bad there are tiny water streams everywhere giving you a "fresh" feel you can fill a water bottle in 2-3 places, there was a bit of snow around 2700m to reach the bottom of the hut but maybe 5m nothing problematic (in this season), which is welcoming with nice drinks and food, recommended, there's an impressive almost vertical climb with a chain the whole way (see vertical picture) to reach the hut perch but no worries there is an alternative for less adventurous hikers or dog owners (see where I descended)
Another welcome thing for me the descent was soft on legs and feet thanks to the zigzag and that day the soft damp dirt helped too.
I don't have a lot of experience on mountain huts but this one will give you the "alpine" experience while not being so harsh on the body you can't walk the next day (depending on your fitness state)
P.S. you can skip Le Désert and des Glaciers camping exploration I was curious to see the emplacements ;)
