Note géographique et géologique
Le ruisseau de Barzague, long de 2.4km, prend sa source près du lieu-dit éponyme. Il se jette dans le ruisseau du Vignacq qui porte le nom de la commune.

Note historique
Figure du village, l'instituteur Charles Prat devient, durant la première moitié du XXème siècle, le représentant des résiniers. Il fut également nommé à ce poste par le gouvernement de Vichy et fit voter une loi, pendant l'Occupation, pour la libération des prisonniers de guerre résiniers enfermés en Allemagne.

Geographical notes
The 2.4 km long Barzague stream has its source near the place of the same name. It flows into the Vignacq stream which bears the name of the town.

Historical notes
A figure of the village, the teacher Charles Prat became, during the first half of the 20th century, the representative of the resin workers . He was also appointed to this position, by the Vichy government and passed a law during the Occupation for the release of resin workforce prisoners of war and locked up in Germany.
