Etapa o sección 6 del sendero APPALACHIAN TRAIL, a su paso por el Estado de New Jersey, en sentido de sur a norte.

La etapa discurre desde el límite de New Jersey con Pennsylvania, en Delaware Water Gap (en el aparcamiento situado muy cerca de la milla 1293.4, en Pennsylvania), y sigue la cuerda de las Kittatinny Mountain, pasando por el Sunfish Pond, lago glaciar, y el Catfish Fire Tower (1.565 pies, punto más alto de la sección), finalizando en la intersección del sendero con la Millbrook-Blairstone Rd, también señalizada como CR-602 (milla 1307.3 del sendero, contado desde Springer, Georgia).

En el gráfico de altura, y en el plano, se observa un tramo central de 4 km. completamente recto; se trata de un fallo del GPS. El sendero es en realidad bastante recto, ya que sigue toda la cuerda, en dirección a Millbrook-Blairstown Road, pero obviamente no tanto como figura en el mapa.

MILLBROOK BLAIRSTONE ROAD TO DELAWARE WATER GAP

The Trail in this section follows the ridge of Kittatinny Mountain. At the southern end, it crosses the Delaware River on an interstate highway bridge at the Delaware Water Gap. The northern part of this section lies within the boundaries of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and the southern part passes through Worhington State Forest. The Trail climbs to the Catfish Fire Tower (elev. 1,565 ft.) the high point of the section, and it passes Sunfish Pond, a glacial lake, near its southern end. Beautiful views are to be had from both sides of the ridge. The southern part of the route runs along Dunnfield Creek and reaches the Delaware River at the Delaware Water Gap, crossing the river on the Interstate 80 bridge (elev. 350 ft.).
