Itinerary description
The trail starts at the 10th curve of the old Austro-Hungarian serpentine road Kotor - Njegusi (see the picture). There's space to park 2 cars at least. It's not circular, return is the same way.
The first part zig-zags up the rocky terrain to Zanjev Do, just below the Nevesta Jadrana restaurant. There are 2 fences on the way to protect cattle from passing, the first one is not so easy to cross but doable, and the second one you can easily bypass just watch for the wire at the bottom so you don't trip over it. It's very possible to encounter some cattle on the way and lots of dung. I was unfortunate to hike the day some villagers were taking bulls to sell so had to wait twice for them to tie them to the trees😬
Once you get out on the asphalt road, go left all the way to Sv.Georgije restaurant and then the trail turns left to Knez Do and follows the one to Zalazi until the signpost directs you left towards an old Austrian ruined building. Past it the trail continues on the narrow forest path, it's not well marked so caution, people did try putting some rocks to direct the right direction and once you manage to figure it out, it's fairly marked but the marks are pale or not well visible. The final part descends down the rock but there's a rope, and climbs up to the top and that's basically the hardest part of the trail but really short, and the views from Pestingrad are well worth it.
Return is the same way though if you did not leave the car at the 10th curve, you can hike down to Kotor from Zanjev Do.
