Attendance ascent/summit/descent : null/null/low
Comment : a great hike, very long and perhaps too much road at the end but awesome mountain range to do in 1 go and view of too many mountains to count or say, watch the videos, you cannot do this in cattle season as several of the "summits" will be close to the public (they were installing the barriers the day I was there so come before 18 june or in autumn) The path from Poutes Paluds Dessous to Les Noires Joux isn't official (anymore but half of it still has T3 markings) so you want to really check where I entered the forest (there is some kind of cut logs/wood and you will find a path, it's pretty wild on the flat before the climb but once you reach the beginning of the ascent it becomes obvious and later there are old T3 white-red markings all along, if you want to avoid crowds it's a great but physical ascent. Talking about physical Sous les Vanels to Vanil de la Monse is als pretty steep I hope you're in good shape !
