Itinerary description
Date : 2020.08.23
Duration on paper : 07h17
Duration real with breaks : 08h41
Difficulty for me : T3 (markings are T4 but it's mostly walking)
Physical : difficult
Technical : average
Fear : low
Attendance ascent/summit/descent : average/low/low
Comment : known as Tour des Lacs shockingly easy compared to Col des Chamois Nord (hike 013) which taught me T4 blue markings mean little, you absolutely need to check pictures and videos before going onto one. this hike makes a round around lots of mini lakes and is very beautiful especially in the furthest part where they have no name on the map, it's mostly walking on rocks, you have to use hands in some places but nothing technical, we didn't go to Mont Rogneux summit because it was on loose gravel and I wasn't feeling it, that was my 1st true hike reaching 3000m that was enough WARNING trying to reach Mont Rogneux summit would make it a real T4 (dangerous) unlike the round we did, the way back seemed very long this is not an easy hike physically but one I recommend to people who want that rocky alpine experience without being climbers
