We walked from somewhere around Birgi where we stayed in air bnb after landing in Trapani airport. Taxi at the airport was very expensive to the accommodation (20 euro for 5 km). The walk itself to Trapani was quite nice, but also more demanding than I thought (it's flat but some parts are heavier to walk because of the sand, packed algues, parts with water where you have to put of the shoes) . We had to put of the shoes two times to cross the water (when passing the airport at the seaside and further on at a little bay). Some parts at the
(Oops, pushed the send button too fast, sorry) All together a beautiful hike. You can get food at Bar Tonino a bit off trail around Birgi Novo, there's a grocery there. After that there's nothing before Trapani. Grtz
