After a long crossing by ferry from Mali Lošinj to Zadar we start again by bike. Very busy main road from Zadar then approaching Vodice the road is wider and less busy. Absent cycle paths a few kilometers scattered here and there in some inhabited center. About twenty km from the finish, signs with a blue background appear with a bicycle to indicate a European cycle route which directs cyclists to sections of internal roads with less traffic.
