Golden Gate, Muir Park, Mount Tamaloais East Peak, Stinson Beach, Muir beach, Tiburon...
The way is by roads, crossing the Golden Gate, crossing Sausalito, roads again, a section of highway and already mountain roads.
In km. 24,700 there is a path that is very difficult, where you have to walk. It's for mountain biking, and not even then. The alternative is the path that starts at km. 24: MIWOK TRAIL, it seems wider and passable seen from the map.
Then there is another long stretch of road and then there is a track that goes up almost to the Tamalois East peak, the highest in the area. This track is highly recommended. It climbs gently and passes through a forest of giant trees.
The descent is by road. Very cool. Quick. Going through forest Looking at the Pacific coast.
Upon reaching the bottom, the road skirts the coast, going up and down.
When you get to Sausalito, head towards the Tiburón pier, where the ferry leaves for San Francisco. At this time the last one leaves at 18:00.
