Itinerary description
A long stretch of beach all the way up to Virginia. I cycled it for about 10K north, but you can go at least 10K more, possibly all the way to Virginia beach. NOTE: you can probably bike it only during the low tide, as the high tide covers the firm part of the beach terrain. On high tide you can probably only walk or drive with a 4x4 as the send is too soft for cycling. I was cycling with a mountain bike, but I am sure you can try even with a road bike, with narrow tires. Please post a comment here if you have different experience.
