Itinerary description
This one is an instant classic. Racing birds on the flats, climbing toward a castle in the clouds, sunny medieval village alleys — possibly the best ride I’ve ever done. Gravel farm roads then into single-lane streets into the edge of a military zone with lava flow gravel into the foothills. A hard climb along some Pyrenean ridgelines followed by a fast loose gravel descent into a famous hunting village. More single-lane streets through olive orchards into a super chonky climb to a ruined sanctuary, then rough asphalt descent into a river village. Long asphalt and gravel flats through medieval villages and a turn onto a tree-lined avenue for the finish.
