Itinerary description

The Freizeitroute 5 (spare time route 5) connects Hamburg with the Vier-und Marschenlande. It's a well built cycling track along the "Marschenlandenbahn", far off from motorised traffic and crossing fields, woods and regional parks instead, and it's really worth seeing, especially in spring. If you plan to cross the Elbe river and continue riding further south, check the Zollenspieker ferry timetable before. And avoid the small detour I took at the playground due to distraction by the gorgeous country side ;)
