Itinerary description
This route begins at Bond Park and follows the Black Creek Greenway to Crabtree Lake. We then enter Umstead Park and follow Reedy Creek Road, a gravel road, till we get to the Ceder Ridge Trail, which we follow till we get to the new section of the Crabtree Creek Trail, which is spectacular (see photos).
The next section is unfinished so we follow some roads till we pick up the trail again. We follow it till we get to Anderson Point Park, where we the have the option of doing the Neuse River Trail.
There was some construction going on when I did the route at Northern Hills Park. If it’s finished, you just stay on the trail.
