Itinerary description
This ride across relatively level terrain is best done over 2 days. The rock formations are amazing and easy to scramble up. From the magnificent camp spot at the top of a large dune, the view west is magnificent. It's possible to cycle along a narrowing wadi and then hike up to a reservoir (I didn't). Looking west from the camp spot, it seems it is possible to cycle (hike, if you can carry enough stuff) for many KMs without coming across any settlements at all.
