Itinerary description
This is a nice traffic free cycle path (apart from start in Barmouth). It crosses the estuary on the old wooden railway bridge. Then follows the disused railway track to Dolgellau. Each way is about 15km (9 miles). Mostly level, good stone surface with few pot holes. Walker and dogs use this path too so you need to be careful, everyone was very polite and the dual use track works quite well. Cafes and toilets at both ends and at Penmaerlpool bridge too which has a very nice pub called the George iii.
