Itinerary description
Absolutely a top ride through the national park of Chefchaouen, without a doubt the best ride of our 4 days there, riding though the some of the most picturesque areas, including two stops for route photos. Definitely some of the best trails in the Rift mountains. 3.5 hours ride but a great day out as plenty to stop and see.

Is it possible to do it with a bmw Gsa maxitrail?
Yes, mostly dirt trails, with a few knarly ruts here and there, you wont have any problems due the road.
If you do stop at Azilan there's a better road the last 300mts you'll see if you go there which is worth it in my opinion
You can't enter Morocco by road due to the boarder closure since Covid began, anyones guess when they will allow us back in
All a no go since covid stuck, no road entry allowed, anyones guess when they will reopen the boarders

Très belle piste, vues magnifiques à faire où a refaire.
We are very interested in this trail, we are promoting eco-friendly trips from Tangier and are wondering if this is accessible by car, Please advise.
It's a few years since we did that trail, I don't recall any of it being single track only for bike, but was it was pretty knarly in places, and there's some sections that are really only 4x4 tracks but all passable.

Just to add that we did that a few year back, there's a good chance all or some of it is now tarmac, the Moroccan government has been very active asphalting vast areas of what were great dirt roads / tracks (for us that like offroading) in the 15 years l've been going there.
