Itinerary description

START: from Polderwind to Knpt 11. Continue via junction list.

You cycle behind the dunes on the landward side. To visit the seaside resorts: deviate from the route.!

Along the way coastal towns such as Blankenberge (knpt 31), De Haan (knpt 3), Bredene (knpt 92).

After Bredene-Bad (node 92) take the dune crossing (dir. node 8) and continue on the cycle path on the sea side to Ostend.

At Ostend (knpt 8) you cross the Voorhaven with the free Overzetboot (sailing times: 6.30-10.30 and 11-18) to Knpt 45 Visserskaai. The bike can come along!

From the ferry RIGHT (follow the junction list) and via the boulevard to the Venetian Galleries and the Cape (= node 74). Here LEFT direction 85

Ostend = about 35km covered.

(You can cycle even further along the coast from Ostend.)

Back by bus?

The bus is located at the Busparking on the Mercatorlaan (near Maritime Institute Ostend).

How do you get there?

At Knpt 85 turn LEFT direction Knpt 45. Cross the bridge and at the end LEFT (= Iependreef/knpt 45 turn right here). With the bend (= Zinnialaan). Take 1st LEFT (= Kazernelaan.) At the end: Mercatorlaan.

Do you cycle back to the hotel? Follow the node list.

At Knpt 11 go to Knpt 78 and you will pass Polderwind.
