Itinerary description

This ride really is a circular from Potes. We did a bit of a detour to start with which can be omitted. The ride is tough due to the incline, rough tracks and ride back down through tracks that are very overgrown. Saying that, it is a beautiful ride. The ride to the tv mask and a few miles after is steep but on good tracks and with great views of the mountain. The track gets rocky towards the highest point in the ride but its not for too long.

Then comes the descent, we actually missed the turn because the track was overgrown as you'll see on the GPS route at the top of the map. There was a single barbwire across the route halfway down with a "not route" sign but the track is on the OpenCycleWay map in Wikiloc so it is for public use as far as I know. There were no issues continuing our ride past this point and it would have been a very long way back up the hill if we had turned around.

Before we rode to the mast we took a detour out of the Campsite, this can be omited from the ride if you want to save your energy for the big climbs to follow

I hoped over the fence and walked about 20 metres down to get this shot. You can see the Campsite and Potes in the distance
