Itinerary description
Lovely ride - Lloyd got puncture fixed at Omakau. Coffee at Lauder. Long stretch to Oturehua 22.5kms. Passed through Poolburn Gorge - beautiful. No falcons to be seen. Stopped at Hays Engineering Historic Place for late lunch & look around homestead. $15 each. On to Wedderburn Cottages for night.
