Itinerary description
The tour can be done with any E-bike. However, there are some stretches with gravel, and an E-MTB is recommended. Most of the tour is on asphalt forest roads, or the RAVeL way (Vennbahn). The tour has some long ascents.
Highlights include the RAVeL, which allows good speed, the panorama across the moorlands of the Hohe Venn (Hautes Fagnes), and the infopoint and beergarden at Ternell.
Coming from Kalterherberg, the tour does not immediately join the RAVeL, but follows first a parallel course along the Rur valley, past the Norbertus Chapel.
