Itinerary description
Loop tour departing from Auronzo di Cadore (Taiarezze).
The itinerary starts at the base of Monte Agudo and then along the Santa Caterina Lake in Auronzo. After the Auronzo dam wall you proceed along the cycle path all the way to Cima Gogna. The road to Cima Gogna has a lot of declines and inclines some of them quite steep.
After that you get onto the main road and you reach Lozzo di Cadore, travelling through the back streets. The roads are asphalt and then you reach the entrance to the traversata del cadore cycle path.
You follow a nice cycle path in the forest which leads to Domegge di Cadore. You then cycle through Grea and Rizzios reaching Calazo.
From Calazo you descend all the way down on the main road to the cycling path that has tight entrance from the road.
From there you cross a field of grass along the Centro Cadore Lake reaching a nice picnic area on the lake. After the picnic area you cross a bridge that gets you on the other side of the lake. Now you cycle along a path with the lake on your left, once the lake starts to disappear you come to a small bridge and some houses and you continue on this road all the way up finally reaching Lorenzago.
From Lorenzago you approach Parco dei Sogni and then on the other side of it you hit the last climb on a dirt road which finally reaches the main road.
You descend from there through Laggio and Pinie' and then enter the main road again in Cima Gogna.
You close the itinerary cycling from Cima Gogna all the way to the base of Monte Agudo through the village of Auronzo di Cadore.
