Castello di Grinzane Cavour

ITA - Il castello rappresenta una testimonianza unica per la storia della viticoltura piemontese. Nel corso del XIX secolo, il castello venne acquistato dallo statista Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour che curò in prima persona le sperimentazioni sulla qualità dei vini che divennero successivamente i maggiori vini rossi piemontesi. Attualmente, il castello e la sua collina rappresentano un polo d’eccezione per la conoscenza e la valorizzazione della cultura vitivinicola dell’intero comprensorio di Langhe-Roero e Monferrato ospitando infatti la prima Enoteca Regionale del Piemonte e uno dei più completi musei etnografici di tradizione vitivinicola della regione. ENG - The castle represents a unique testimony for the history of Piedmontese viticulture. During the nineteenth century, the castle was bought by the statesman Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour who personally supervised the experiments on the quality of the wines which later became the most important red wines of Piedmont. Nowadays, the castle and its hill represent an exceptional pole for the knowledge and the valorization of the wine culture of the whole Langhe-Roero and Monferrato area, in fact it hosts the first Piedmont's Regional Enoteca and one of the most complete ethnographic museums of the wine tradition of the region.

Barolo

ITA - Oggi Barolo è un paese del vino nel senso strettissimo del termine: la sua presenza si respira infatti a ogni angolo di strada. E il Barolo vino, che non è come tutti gli altri, fa di Barolo paese un po' una sorta di "luogo sacro". Non stupitevi dunque se Barolo, diversamente da altri luoghi divenuti improvvisamente celebri per il vino, è ancora un paese di proprietà dei suoi abitanti: questo carattere lo si può riscontrare recandosi dal panettiere o in farmacia, dove non è inconsueto attendere per alcuni minuti il proprio turno mentre la persona davanti a voi sta ragguagliando l'esercente sullo stato di salute di qualche suo caro. In questi casi non fatevi prendere dalla fretta o dall'impazienza ma lasciatevi cullare dal ritmo, dolce come le tante colline che circondano questo magico borgo. ENG - Today Barolo is a wine town in the strictest sense of the term: its presence can be felt at every street corner. And Barolo wine, which is not like any other wine, makes Barolo a sort of "sacred place". Do not be surprised if Barolo, differently from other places which suddenly became famous for their wine, is still a town owned by its inhabitants: this character can be noticed by going to the baker's or to the pharmacy, where it is not unusual to wait for a few minutes while the person in front of you is telling the shopkeeper about the health condition of someone dear to you. In these cases do not be taken by haste or impatience but let yourself be lulled by the rhythm, sweet as the many hills that surround this magical village.

Belvedere di La Morra

ITA - Raggiungete piazza Castello. Qui, una grandiosa balconata protesa sulle Langhe e sulle Alpi offre uno spettacolo superbo e senza paragoni: mezzo Piemonte si distende davanti a voi, in un susseguirsi senza fine di colline punteggiate da borgate, castelli e torri emergenti dai vigneti. Here, a magnificent balcony overlooking the Langhe and the Alps offers a superb and unparalleled view: half of Piedmont stretches out in front of you, in an endless succession of hills dotted with villages, castles and towers emerging from the vineyards.

Panchina Gigante Rossa La Morra

ITA - La Panchina Gigante della Serenità. La Morra è uno dei punti più panoramici della Bassa Langa del Barolo e come la maggior parte dei paesi limitrofi, sorge sulla sommità di una collina ENG - The Giant Bench of Serenity. La Morra is one of the most panoramic points of the Bassa Langa del Barolo and like most of the neighboring villages, it rises on the top of a hill.
