Average Slope : +7.9% -7.2%
Attendance ascent/summit/descent : null/high/null
Comment : DO NOT RECOMMEND I copied this e-bike ride from another wikiloc user which already had complaints about the quality of the trails (hard to ride) so I cut some parts of it but it still was way too rough for me. As in it goes on a lot of trail too technical and harsh for a fun ride, in short half the supposedly T2 trails qualify as T3 for hiking as in large protruding rocks and roots a lot of them, not hitting the pedals or your feet is a constant worry, not fun at all and very hard both physically for the rider and the bike 100m feel like 5km, not cool at all. Fully-suspended bikes mandatory !!!
The elevation as usual is very wrong count 1800-2000D+ not 1600 quite a big difference (sport apps smooth the gps too much losing all the annoying up/down and bumps you actually have to do) It also has several 30% slopes completely undoable without an electric motor and even with it we had to walk/push the bike at several places because the front wheel lifted off the ground, too vertical.
I found no good alternative for the atrocious T3 trail in the forest under la Patta till La Magnena (they need to redo the planks all of them have a giant hole in the middle and the risk of the front wheel being stuck is too high we walked most of them) a possible alternative would be to follow the road down to the Abladeplatz für Alp Grotovein and then ascent to Grattavache (+200m ascent) but I fear the forest segment will require pushing if not lifting your bike for 400m on a 30% slope, you can try but it's a risk.
What is certain tough is that at Euschelpass you must not take the logical (and non-rideable too destroyed) hiking trail going straight down but rather follow the T3 red-white fochsenflue sign going right which connects to a road a few meters later (realized that too late)
Once you reach euschelpass the effort is pretty much over it's almost only road after that, we made a little detour near Im Fang for some welcome shade (31°C !) but had to go back to the main road because the other trails along the river were too harsh, might be fun when you don't do anything else that day but not after climbing 2 mountains ><
Oh and btw you better have brakes in order to do this as both the descent to Schwarzsee and to Jaun are steep you'll gain speed very quickly on a heavy e-bike, there's basically nothing between 0kph and 40kph you let the brakes off you're going full speed instantly pretty dangerous (54kph max speed while braking almost non-stop !)
Final comment, e-bikes are motorbikes for me it's not cycling but....1800D+ with extremely steep slopes was still a hard workout especially during a 30+°C heatwave :/ the Schwarzsee to Euschelpass ascent is hard you better have at least 33% battery left.
We had a 500wh battery I believe and I didn't quite make it to the starting point, had to do the last 300 meters without power, a friend managed to do it but he was at the end too. I don't recommend doing this with less than a 600wh battery.
