Itinerary description

This route is not a typical bike route. It uses country roads that are often not repaired and possibly with dirt and sand on the road. It goes from the Juzna Morava Valley to the Sv. Ilija village which lies on the mountain peak. Then it follows mountain roads to Trgoviste, then Klenike and finally the monastery Prohor Pcinjski. The monastery is at the bottom of Pcinja Valley, so getting out of it and going back the same way will be equally challenging as getting there. The possible continuation of the route could lead to Macedonia as the monastery is just a couple of kilometers from the Macedonian border crossing.

The route is quite scenic and recommended to nature and cycling enthusiasts who do not mind being possibly the first cyclists to pass through these villages and use these roads.
