Kefalonia Island, Greece - From Pessada to Myrtos Beach, Melissani Lake Cave and Poros / Isla de Kefalonia, Grecia: de Pessada a la playa de Myrtos, cueva inundada de Melissani hasta Poros
Esta parte es en inglés, pero si bajas más esta también en castellano ;)
We arrive to Kefalonia from Zakinthos by ferry with our bikes. The plan was bike all across the Kefalonia island as we did in Zakynthos. In this case we went from the town of Pessada, where the ferry left us, to Poros where we ould take the next ferry back to the mainland.
The Island is more mountainous than Zakinthos, and also we did much more kilometers this time, but also the places we visited were awesome.
From Pessada we went north to a beautiful bay wich leaded us to the Myrtos Beach where we take a great bath in an amazing blue sea.
From Myrtos after climbing up the road we went to Agia Effimia trough a beautiful road. And from there to the Melissani Lake Cave along a costal road. We visited the Melissani Lake Cave, and take another bath in the shore close to the road before leaving to Sami.
From Sami we went south trough a road wich climbs up te mountains to get to the other side of the island an finally reach Poros to take the ferry to the mainland almost by night

Llegamos a Kefalonia desde Zakinthos en ferry con nuestras bicicletas. El plan era andar en bicicleta por toda la isla de Kefalonia como lo hicimos en Zakynthos. En este caso, fuimos desde la ciudad de Pessada, donde el ferry nos dejó, a Poros, donde tomaríamos el siguiente ferry de vuelta a tierra firme.
La isla es más montañosa aun que Zakinthos, y también hicimos muchos más kilómetros esta vez, pero también los lugares que visitamos fueron igual o más impresionantes aun.
Desde Pessada fuimos al norte a una hermosa bahía que nos llevó a la playa de Myrtos donde nos dimos un baño en su increíble agua azul.
Desde Myrtos, después de remontar la carretera, fuimos a Agia Effimia a través de una preciosa carretera. Y de allí llegamos a la cueva inundada de Melissani, siguiendo una carretera costera. Visitamos la cueva de Melissani, y tomamos otro baño en la orilla cerca de la carretera antes de irnos a Sami.
Desde Sami, nos dirigimos hacia el sur a través de una carretera que sube por las montañas para llegar al otro lado de la isla y finalmente llegar a Poros para coger el ferry hacia el continente, ya casi de noche.
