Itinerary description
The present track collects the cycling of August 09, 2014, which was entirely on gravel. Up from Tres Ekklisies to Paranimfi. After a detour to the wonderful isolated church of Agios Pavlos, up to the summit of the Kofinas, which is the highest summit of the Asterousia. From there, directly down to the isolated Koudouma monastery. A few days earlier I had achieved the same by foot, remaining 200-300 above the coastline: a path which needs a certain amount of rock scrambling.
Later I did it again by foot passing through the church of Agios Pavlos, which is longer but easier. Unfortunately I did not record the tracks of these walks. Due to errors, I also lost the tracks of my further cycling to Agiofarago and Cape Lithino, and from there back to Tres Ekklisies.
An annotated version of the summit 360° from Kofinas can be found on PPH

The summit is not featured in the track, but is it very easy to reach from the road. Better not to start from the very saddle, but to push on some hundreds of metres in direction Koudouma.

Koudouma monastery
It is rare to find such a remote monastery, whic can be accessed only by a descent of 1100 metres.
