Itinerary description

English (Castellano debajo):
Easy route surrounding the lake d'Annecy done 7th August 2016

We started the route from the city, although it's true that it took us long time to get to the partking. Every weekend (if sunny) there hundreds of people so the recommendation is either to get there very early or just try to start it from another place. In case you don't have your own bike or you want to walk it, next to the beach there are some stores where you can rent a bike or get some food.

We did it anticlockwise which is for me the easiest because there is only one steep slope at the end.For people doing it the other way around it will be at the beggining but will be a bit longer.

We had a small issue because there is a sign in the intersection where it states that it will be the end of the bike road and it will be the normal one so we didn't take it as we thought it was not the right one so we ended up doing extra 30 km or so.

The whole way is quite flat, with very good views and you need to take special attention to the cars when you get into the road, but in general its quite pleasant that even for people not used to the bike is easy.

Here there is a link to one of the Tour de France stages that started here:

Castellano:

Sign

There is a sign where is states that the bike path will end and you will need to use a normal road. Be careful as we thought it should not be the one so we skipped it. This meant we made some extra 20 km just looking for the correct intersection.
