Itinerary description

A medium paced all day ride from London (Mile End) to Cambridge. Heading out of town via the traffic free Lea Valley route then via Much Hadham and Clavering. Through beautiful rolling countryside south of Cambridge, into the city via the DNA path at Addenbrooke. Lots of traffic free riding and small country lanes.
Suitable for any type of bike, no-one left behind! Lunch at a country pub, tea stops as needed. Rated hard for the length rather than speed or too many hills.
Trains back from Cambridge to Liverpool Street, Finsbury Park or Stratford (change at Bishops Stortford). Tickets £16 or £8 with a group ticket.
