Itinerary description
Following main road more or less via Calbourne and then back to Cowes via disused trainline. Relatively quiet and nicely undulating roads - not sure how it would have been during summer with traffic. If I had more time would have considered going up along the downs and also visiting Carisbrooke Castle. Ignore the diversion we made up into the woodlands. This idea was abandoned due to realising insufficient time to get to Newport In the day light
