This is a circular road bike trail, all asphalt.
It starts at Tatranská Štrba, going up on road 538 towards Štrbské pleso, then skirting the resort and instead continuing slightly downward on road 537 through several small villages in the High Tatras; it starts descending fast at Tatranská Polianka, until you reach Svit. From there, on road 18 it's a slight incline all the way back to the starting point.
You're driving on main roads, but they aren't so heavy with traffic and the drivers are always mindful of cyclists.
