Itinerary description

Start Logie Kirk car park (large) on north side of A91 immediately east of Stirling University and before Blairlogie. South on Manor Loan past Coffee Bothy to NCN76, then Alloa and Clackmannan to pick up NCN764 (former railway). Right off NCN764 at West Grange to Culross (pub, cafe, shops, red pantile roofs). Option of circular ride around Preston Island (former salt pans, ruins of salt extraction works, views of Forth). Return westward on NCN76 to Kincardine (The Baking Room cafe). Across Kincardine Bridge to NCN76 on south side of Forth, west to Stirling via Cowie and back to Logie Kirk via Cambuskenneth. Mixture of traffic-free bike paths and quiet roads. 44 miles. Largely flat. Suitable for road bikes.
