Very nice tour that can be done quietly with the bikes rented in the village, which are nothing special. Of the two possible, we chose the Upper Sky Road, the Lower one goes more at the level of the coast and we did not do it, the Upper one at the beginning seems to have a lot of slope and that goes inside, but after passing a small castle the The road begins to descend towards the sea and has spectacular views of the Clifden peninsula and the island. After 6 kilometers, at a crossroads you can return to the town by the Lower, we choose to follow the path (indications of "Loop 1") and go down to a village, here the drop has crumb because it has some grabilla and the asphalt is not in very good condition, with which care down. When leaving the village, you start to return by the northern part of the peninsula and you see a lot of punki sheep and especially the sea water that goes many kilometers inland to form a curious marsh, a truly enigmatic landscape because if you go down to the shore you see that even though you are far from the coast, the water is salty and you can find shells and oysters on the small beaches. The end of the tour is already inside and you can not see the sea, or the marshes, at any given time the road has a quite hard slope and you get to the national road, the last kilometers are not so beautiful because it goes downhill on a 100 km / h road, but at least it gets quicker to town, just in front of the big church. It is not a very tired route but in the background and on the final slope and the road section, you have to be careful especially if you go with a rented bike ...
