Itinerary description
Do you want to discover the Montiferru, but really the whole Montiferru? This is the tour for you. You'll cross the whole mountain range far and wide, from the mountain forests to the olive groves on the hills, from the pastures of the inland to the coastal cliffs. Route starts with a slightly downhill passing through the villages of Seneghe and Narbolia, and then continues slightly down until the large pine forest that protects the dunes of the nice Is Arenas beach. Then you'll have rolling part through the villages on the sea of S'Archittu and Santa Caterina di Pittinuri. The climb starts again as you leave the coastline, and it leads you up to 900 meters, passing through Cuglieri and through a wonderful forest of oak and holly trees. From the mountain village of San Leonardo, known for the pure drinking springs, you'll go down again. A little up to get to Santu Lussurgiu and you'll end your cycling day with an easy descent back to Bonarcado.
