Itinerary description
Beautful loop tour perfectly divided between the coast and the inland area, festured by two long climbs, not too challenging, through forests of cork and oak, and 2 long runs along the rugged coastline that connects Bosa to Alghero. Leave Bosa on the road to Montresta , that's a beautiful uphill with a constant gradient between 4% and 5% among woods and breathtaking views over the Temo river valley. Shortly after the brow you reach Montresta reached, a small rural village known for producing excellent bread and homemade pasta. After a few kilometers of downhill, you starts climbing again along the eastern slope of Monte Mannu up to 600m, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea before starting a long descent till the coastline, where it is recommended to be careful because of the absence of the guardrail and for bumpy road. From here you'll expect a final climb to Cape Marrargiu and then 12 easy chilometers along the wild coast before returning to Bosa.
