Itinerary description
Very nice bike trip to the Sallandse Heuvelrug via Zuna.
We start at our camperspot wijngaard Baan. From here we follow the river midden Regge and pass the N350 via a tunnel in the direction of Rijssen. Taking a small ferry to cross the river, ideal for bikers and hikers.. you have to pull yourself to the other side.
As we pass Rijssen we enter the National park Sallandse Heuvelrug, here we visit the Canadian war cemetery, which is quite impressive.
Passing the 2 highest points of the park it’s a sandy downhill to Nijverdal. From here an easy ride to the camperspot.
