From St. Geertruid to De Planck where you start "Route des Chateaux" (called "Burgenroute" in German speaking part of the route ("Kastelenroute" in Dutch). The "Route des Chateaux" is completely indicated by signs. In some cases you have to follow the direction of a town, that's indicated on the route signs as well. Route itself is roughly 75km, to St. Geertruid adds roughly 17.
Het eerste deel is mooi door Nederland. Op de terugweg vrij veel grote banen met veel verkeer op. Vergelijkbaar met Route Nationale in Frankrijk zonder fietspaden.
We hebben dan maar getracht andere paadjes te nemen.
