Itinerary description
Starting at the El Sur campsite we cycled through Ronda, choose your own route, we parked up and had a wonder around this beautiful, vibrant place. After Ronda it is a short section of the main road (quiet) before heading down the valley and up to Benaoján . Just outside here we took a detour to the Cueva de La Pileta, well worth a visit, before returning to our main route and a return to Ronda. The final 14km being on the main road but it was quiet and the drivers were considerate to cyclists.
Returning to Ronda in the early evening, via whichever route you like provides another opportunity to soak up the culture.
A fantastic scenic route through mountains and pastures. And lots of Griffon Vultures to watch!
