Itinerary description
Ride from Patras to Tsivlou lake and Zarouchla village.
From Patras, following old national road to Akrata, passing by through Rio, Arachovitika, Drepano, Kamares, Egio, Diakopto and Platanos. Fairly easy section, mostly flat with only few minor fast climbs. Wind was helping so did it fast and painless (67km in 2:23' => ~28kmh)
From Akrata climbing steady until Valimi (~18km, +1000m, ~5%). It got much warmer and I got first signs of fatigue. From Valimi there is a fun descent for about 3.5km, followed by quick short climb and another descent until turn for Tsivlou lake.
Last 11km is again steady but not so steep climb to Zarouchla (11km, +300m, ~3%).
All section from Akrata: 37km in 2:20' => ~15.5kmh.
Great ride, awesome views all the way, first by the sea and later in the mountains. Whole ride with 10' break in Akrata took me under 5h.
