For those who do not speak English, please find English version below.

The tour is on Wikiloc ever, it can be found here:

-> http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do?id=631111

For a variety of reasons, I allow myself to discontinue them anyway. The existing version only has 500 waypoints, which is not enough for a trackback. Also, it contains neither a description nor are photos attached.

In the planning I have considered whether I with the MTB (is a vintage car, 21 years, only 21 gears, but 17 kg :-(), a touring bike or racing bike to drive in the face of over 2000 meters in altitude (increase) and the expectation in mountainous terrain to have a few single trails with me, I have decided for the MTB, but that would not have been necessary.The route is only on asphalt.The right crushers on mountains are not there, rarely once goes to the slope 10% up, it does not get steeper at all - with a racing bike you would have been faster all the time, and even with a touring bike, this route is easily feasible in a day.

After leaving Reichenberg, the route initially goes up towards Jeschken. However, we do not reach the summit at 1012 meters, we limit ourselves to 774 meters. Nevertheless, the tour will be exhausting enough. After that comes a wonderful downhill, here I really regretted for the first time to sit on a MTB with wide tires. It then continues very slightly downhill or straight ahead, you can move forward very quickly. On this long simple piece we pass Bohemian Aicha, which invites you to take a break with refreshment with its beautiful market square. The next larger and beautiful village is Münchengrätz. Here would be a longer break with lunch appropriate. After that, the course swings to the east and it starts to get a bit more mountainous until we see Trosky Castle on the right. From there on, so on the last third, it's only then to the point. It is not the height of the Cossack, and the slopes are not as strong as that they would not be able to cope with a road bike - it is rather the continuous up and down which goes neatly after the completed distance but in the legs. The descent from Kosakow in serpentines can only be described as rapid. In Eisenbrod (Železný Brod) we reach the local lowest point on the Jizera. Climbing from there will be the last significant elevation in two stages with 400 meters of rise at a distance of 10 km. From the highest point at the entrance of Marschowitz (Maršovice), the tour then almost only goes downhill via Gablonz on the Neisse (Jablonec nad Nisou) and on to the starting point in Reichenberg.

I allow myself to re-post it for several reasons. Firstly, the other post contains only 500 waypoints which deems too few for a trackback. So, there is some photos included.

A roadster or a racer. Seeing the climb in excess of 2000 meters and in expectation of some single trails in a mountainous region, I decided for my MTB (on oldtimer, 21 years, 21 gears, 17 kg). This has not been required in the end. 10% in some few locations. With a light-weight racer, it would have been better to ride faster. Who does not suffer from weekness may manage the tour with a heavy roadster.

When leaving Reichenberg we first have to climb up the Jeschken. The trail does not go up to the summit at 1012 metres, it drives past underneath at 774 metres. The tour remains however strenuously enough. I bewailed for the first time during the following down-hill section to have chosen the MTB with its wide country-tyres. After that, the tour runs further slightly down or flat for a long distance. On this straightforward section we pass Böhmisch Aicha, which has a nice market place inviting one to have a refreshment. The next nice place is Münchengrätz where one might have a longer break for having lunch. Next, the trip moves eastward while becoming a little bit more hilly, lets say undulating, until we see the Burg Trosky on the right hand side. From there on, it becomes mountaineous when climbing up the Kosakow. It is not the absolute heigth of this mountain that renders the last third of the trip quite cumbersome. After the relatively long distance up to there, the continuous up and down is wearisome. The down-hill section after the Kosakow runs in serpentines and may be called fast-paced. With the local minimum height we reach the Iser (Jizera) river in Eisenbrod (Železný Brod) from where we move up the last hill in two steps while climbing 400 metres over a distance of 10 kilometres. From the heighest point at the entrance to the village Marschowitz (Maršovice), the tour goes almost continuously down to Gablonz an der Neiße (Jablonec nad Nisou) and finally to the starting point in Reichenberg.

Bahnhof

The station of Liberec (Liberec) is the starting point and end point of the tour. However, I had to travel by car, since there was flood and the route Zittau-Reichenberg was not used. Even if the start and end of the trail are not there, they are very close. I parked the car around the corner and drove past the train station.

Nice little town with market place, it was a bit too early for my first break.

This mountain, which is one that you can see quite well when you start up, is the highest peak of the "Bohemian Paradise" (Český ráj).
