RB-14 MALAGA-CAMPANILLAS-ESTACION DE CARTAMA-CARTAMA-COIN-ALOZAINA-ZALEA-ALORA-PIZARRA-ALJAIMA-MLG

This is nice and moderate trip around Malaga going through valley behind the city called Hoya de Malaga.

Firstly as always you have to go out from city centre. Starting on main square Plaza de la Constitucion you take street Calle Especeria/Cisneros and then turn right for the main road. After 50 meters turn left to go across the bridge Aurora (!!!one way!!!!) and keep straight up out of centre through streets Marmoles/Maldonado?Av. Carlos Haya. After any 4 km you come to roundabout called Plaza Manos Unidas and here you have to turn left for University/Universidad. After any 200 m turn right and follow all the time street Navarro Ledesma leading for Campanillas (A 7076/MA-405).

Once you are in Campanillas follow A 7054 going through Santa Rosalia to Estacion de Cartama. On the last roundabout take left to go across railtrack for Cartama through A 7057 and later through A 7059/A 355 and A 366 for Coin. Before Coin you will get any small unimportant climbs.

From Coin you keep on A 366 which is road at the bottom of Sierra de las Nieves leading to Alozaina. There are some nice and steady climbs. In Alozaina there is a lot of posibilities to get refreshment or food even views over Hoya de Malaga are impressive.

From Alozaina we keep on through A 354 along Casarabonela to Zalea. Nice views and ondulated surface make this part of trip very fast. When being behind Zalea turn left and inmediately right for Pizarra following A 343.

From Pizarra you have to follow A 7054/MA 402 again to go back to Malaga via Aljaima/Estacion de Cartama/Santa Rosalia/Campanillas.

From Campanillas you can take the same route you have been going out or just follow signs on A 7054 to go to centre of Malaga.
