Itinerary description

Another grandiose challenge in Malaga outskirts.

From Plaza de la Constitucion follow streets Calle Victoria/Cristo de la Epidemia and finally Camino Colmenar. You are on C-345 again for any 20km of uphill. Once you pass Puerto del Leon (950m) turn right for Olias and Totalan through MA-166 for 4km. On the crossroad turn left and follow road MA-165 until Comares. You will cycle along huge and majestic Peak Santopitar having nice prospects to sea and Comares in front of you.

Climbing to impressive Comares will cost you more because of bad surface and inclination. Riding through city is very arabic. Get a coffee there!!! You merit it.

Downhill from Comares is on MA-169 then turn right for Benamargosa. Keep on road MA-3107. From Benamargosa continue on MA-145 and later follow signs Velez-Malaga/Torre del Mar.

In Torre del Mar turn right and get flat ride on N-340 through Rincon... and El Palo to Malaga.
