Itinerary description
I started recording at the high point of the lower Truckee River canyon - near the Calif/Nev state line. Very steep, I had to get off and push my bike in some parts. Not an easy thing. I didn't make it to the suspended bridge as I didn't want to climb that high hill again on the return trip! Elevation gain seemed more that twice what is recorded, I felt the ride was very tiresome, not fun.
I've done the trail from Farrad riding downriver to the suspension bridge too. I think that trail is narrow and a bit technical. I didn't enjoy that section either, won't be doing it again.
