Itinerary description
really great ride. rolling hills but nothign so severe. VEry pretty dorset villages, magnificent countryside. Wild garlic, bluebells. Very quiet roads and would be more or less like that outside of lockdown. Lots of good pubs on the way. Was in two minds to extend or take the route to Milton Abbas or even Bulbarrow.
Caution: ride was made in 'lockdown' period, so traffic was very light evenon the main roads. In normal times I man not have made thedecsion to return back to dorchester on the main road after coming down Yellowham Hill. Also caution for some nasty potholes on that main road section, when you may not be expecting them. Council has done some work it seems but clearly not enough.
