Itinerary description
A circular and testing loop, National cycle route N8 to Corris, then over the mountain to Aberangle, Cammaes, Llanrin, and back to Pennal.
This was the acid test of the Swyche kits fitted to our bikes last October. Restricting ourselves to 'assist level 1, but occasionally using level 2, and very rarely, level 3, we arrived home with one bar, but suspect that we were very low on power at that point.
In conclusion, it got us around a demanding loop, but made for an extremely pleasant day. To my mind it proved that a Swyche equipped bike can make a competent touring e bike, and not just for commuting.
