Itinerary description
Long ride in Achaea and Ilia, West Greece.
Starting from Patra with road 111 in direction to Panopoulos.
Just few kilometers before the town, right turn to Amaliada/Pyrgos.
After about 20k after the turn, near village Keramidia, right turn again in direction to Pinios dam and then continue with minor roads across olive gardens to Mixoio and Lapas (crossing national road Patra-Pyrgo).
Quick stop in Lapas for refueling and back to Patra first with new national road (until Kato Achaia) and then old road all the way to Patra.
Great ride, not many demanding climbs (and most done in first 50k). Nice and empty roads in fair condition for a safe road bike ride.
